(English) For Roe Ethridge, the medium of the book is often an opportunity to show the flows that animate his photographic work, and create links between images from heterogeneous projects and times. This catalogue, which only exists in an electronic form, reveals the selection, layout and installation processes at work in the artist's first museum exhibition at Le Consortium, Dijon, and M - Museum Leuven. It offers a unique opportunity to understand how Ethridge thinks, edits and organizes his images. This singular story in pictures is accompanied by an essay by Anne Pontégnie, the curator of the exhibition.
(français) Pour Roe Ethridge, l'objet livre a souvent été l'occasion de faire apparaître les flux qui animent son œuvre photographique, et de créer des liens entre des images issues de projets ou de moments très hétérogènes. Ce catalogue, qui n'existera que sous sa forme électronique, déroule les processus de sélection, d'agencement puis d'installation de la première exposition muséale de l'artiste au Consortium de Dijon et au Musée M de Louvain. Il offre une occasion unique d'appréhender la manière dont Ethridge pense, édite et organise ses images. Ce récit inédit et tout en images est accompagné d'un essai d'Anne Pontégnie, la commissaire de l'exposition.
