Prof. Claudio Vicini completed his residencies in Otolaryngology in Pisa, Audiology in Firenze, and Neurology in Ferrara, Italy. Throughout his career, Prof. Vicini has held several positions, including Director of the Department of Head & Neck Surgery at ASL Romagna and Associate Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Ferrara's "Scienze Biomediche e Chirurgico Specialistiche" Department. He has also served as Associate Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Bologna's "Medicina Specialistica, Diagnostica e Sperimentale" Department and as Extraordinary Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy. He served as Past President of the Italian Society of Otolaryngology. He has also shared his expertise globally, as a Visiting Professor for Sleep Disordered Breathing Surgery in Doha, Qatar, and as a member of the Florida Hospital Nicholson Center FHNC Global Faculty Board. In addition to his academic role, Prof. Vicini is actively involved in clinical practice, serving as an ENT Consultant at GVM Care & Research and holding positions at GVM Primus Medical Center in Forlì and GVM San Pier Damiano Hospital in Faenza, Italy. He is also responsible for the Clinical Program “Kalypnos” at the Long Life Formula Center, Castrocaro (Forlì) for the treatment of COMISA. Prof. Vicini's scholarly contributions are substantial, with over 210 papers published in the field of Otolaryngology. He is also a co-author of the Springer books titled "Barbed Pharyngoplasty and Sleep Disordered Breathing” and “TORS for OSA”.Prof. Paolo Zamboni currently serves as Full Professor of Vascular Surgery and Chair of the School in Vascular Surgery at the University of Ferrara, Italy. Throughout his career, Prof. Zamboni has held various leadership positions, including Chairman of the Vascular Diseases Program at Ferrara University Hospital and Chair of the Hub Centre for Venous and Lymphatic Disorders in the Emilia-Romagna Region. He has also served as Past President of the International Society of Neurovascular Diseases (ISNVD) and is an Honorary Fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology. Prof. Zamboni's expertise is recognized globally, as evidenced by his international professorships and lectureships at esteemed institutions such as Harvard University, New York University, and the University of Chicago. He has received multiple awards, including the International Glauco Bassi Award for Venous and Lymphatic Disorders and the Gold Medal Award from the International Society for Neurovascular Diseases. Prof. Zamboni has authored over 300 indexed publications and seven textbooks. His research has made substantial contributions to advancing the understanding and treatment of vascular diseases. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field, Prof. Zamboni was honored with the title of Grande Ufficiale of the Italian Republic in 2023.Prof. Giannicola Iannella is a Researcher at the Department of Sense Organs at Sapienza University of Rome and an Otolaryngologist at Policlinico Umberto I in Rome. He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery, specializing in Otolaryngology, and earned a Ph.D. in Advanced Technologies in Surgery at Sapienza University of Rome. He gained clinical and research experience at Morgagni Pierantoni Hospital in Forlì, focusing on robotic surgery and the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing. He is a university lecturer, a member of international scientific societies, and the author of over 200 international publications. He has received numerous awards for his research activities and serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious scientific journals.
