Maria Mathew is currently a research scholar at the Materials Research Laboratory, National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC). Her research focuses on the development of electrospun fibrous membranes for environmental applications, with a strong emphasis on advanced nanomaterials and sustainable technologies. She has made notable contributions to the field, including the publication of research papers and book chapters in the area of nanotechnology. Her broader research interests encompass nanomaterial synthesis, environmental remediation, and the design of functional materials for diverse applications. Rony Rajan Paul received his PhD from CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram, India working with Professor Vijay Nair. He has been a visiting fellow at the Universities of Potsdam and Duesseldorf, Germany and Nottingham Trent University, UK. After a post-doctoral stay at KU Leuven, Belgium, he returned to his alma mater CMS College, Kottayam as an Assistant Professor. In 2024, he was awarded SERB-SIRE fellowship for research stay at KU Leuven. He has published extensively in international journals of good repute and has an h-index 13. Dr. Ann Rose Abraham is currently Assistant Professor of Physics at Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Kochi, India, where she is conducting ongoing research at the Materials Research Laboratory (MRL). She has written, co-written, edited, or co-edited more than 50 publications, including books, book chapters, and papers in refereed journals. She serves as reviewer of many international journals. She has research experience at various national institutes including Bose Institute, SAHA Institute of Nuclear Physics, UGC-DAE CSR Centre, Kolkata and has collaborations with various international laboratories, such as the University of Johannesburg, Institute of Physics Belgrade, etc. She is the recipient of the young researcher award in physics. Dr. Abraham received her M.Sc, M.Phil, and Ph.D degrees in Physics from the School of Pure and Applied Physics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. She has expertise in the field of materials science, nanomagnetic materials, multiferroics, polymeric nanocomposites, etc. A. K. Haghi is a retired professor and has written, co-written, edited, or co-edited more than 1000 publications, including books, book chapters, and papers in refereed journals with over 4200 citations and h-index of 34, according to the Google Scholar database. Professor Haghi holds a BSc in urban and environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina (USA) and holds two MSc degrees, one in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University (USA) and another one in applied mechanics, acoustics, and materials from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France). He was awarded a PhD in engineering sciences at Université de Franche-Comté (France). He is a regular reviewer of leading international journals.
